The Beloved Community Wraps Up Successful “Paw It Forward” Campaign to Support Animal Welfare

Volunteers Nominate Local Shelters to Receive Donations

Binghamton, NY — The Beloved Community (TBC) concluded its heartwarming “Paw It Forward” campaign, which encouraged community members to volunteer their time to help animals in need. The campaign, launched in August, inspired local volunteers to take action, and as a result, eight deserving animal welfare organizations across the country have received critical support.

Participants were invited to nominate their favorite local animal shelters after volunteering, and in response, TBC awarded donations to each of the following organizations:

• The Broome County Humane Society
• Sean Casey Animal Rescue
• Mavroudis Poodle Rescue
• DC Bird Alliance
• Castaways Pet Rescue
• That’s What Friends Are For
• Hearts n Home Rescue
• Merced County Animal Shelter

“We are deeply grateful for the dedication shown by our volunteers and the generosity of our community,” said Brielle Procko, Chief Marketing Officer at The Beloved Community. “Their commitment to helping animals in need has made a lasting impact on shelters that rely on this kind of support.”

In addition to the donations made directly to shelters, the campaign garnered generous contributions from the following sponsors:

• Nyla Bone: 180 dog bones
• Freshpet: Coupons and a bandana
• Scoop Away: Coupons for cat litter products
• Lucy & Co: $100 certificate
• Bark Box: 1 free BarkBox
• Charlie Bear: 180 dog treat bags
• Matty Mutts N Cutts: $126 donation

TBC also matched donations, bringing the total monetary donations to $1,631. This included $505 raised through Givebutter, a $1,000 match from TBC, and $126 from Matty Mutts N Cutts.
